Project Summary

Our team was commissioned by Centric Africa, on behalf of the project lenders, to conduct a site visit and an environmental and social review of the operations. The scope included the sugar factory, company-owned plantations, out-grower plantations, and the interrelationships among these components.

Output & Impact

The review culminated in the development of an Environmental and Social Review Summary (ESRS) and an Environmental and Social Action Plan (ESAP), both of which were formally adopted as integral components of the financial transaction.
