Tanzania Launches Climate-Smart Agriculture Fund for Smallholder Resilience

Tanzania has introduced a Green Agriculture Financing Facility to support smallholder farmers adopting climate-resilient practices such as agroecology, conservation farming, and efficient irrigation. The fund is backed by the UNDP and local banks and includes ESG-linked lending criteria.

Why it matters: This presents opportunities for KNC to engage in sustainable agriculture projects, develop ESG metrics for grantees, and support impact measurement.
